MEET OUR PASTOR
Jonathan Hill serves as the Senior Pastor of Faymont Baptist Church. He loves helping people understand the Bible and discover how God's truth speaks into everyday life. His preaching is rooted in Scripture, with the goal of helping people know God more deeply and apply His Word to their daily lives.
Jonathan's heart is to see people come to know Jesus, grow in their faith, and find a place to belong. Whether someone has followed Christ for many years or is simply curious about Christianity, he enjoys answering questions, building relationships, and walking alongside people wherever they are in life's journey.
He earned a Bachelor of Theology from Andersonville Theological Seminary, and is currently completing both a Master of Ministry in Expository Preaching and a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies through Carolina University's Piedmont Divinity School. Jonathan believes that learning is a lifelong pursuit and that continued study helps him faithfully teach God's Word and serve others well.
Jonathan and his wife, Rainey, are thankful to call Faymont Baptist Church home and consider it a privilege to serve its people. They enjoy building relationships, investing in the Fayetteville/Fort Bragg community, and welcoming new faces each week. In his free time, Jonathan enjoys writing, playing the piano, and gardening.
