Our Youth Ministry is dedicated to nurturing the spiritual growth and personal development of students in 6th through 12th Grades. At the heart of our mission is the conviction that Christianity is not merely a set of religious practices but a profound and transformative relationship with Christ. We are committed to instilling in our teenagers the understanding that through Christ, they can experience a life of abundance as emphasized in John 10:10. Our aim is to guide them through crucial decisions and encourage a vibrant spiritual journey that reflects this promise.
In our diverse and welcoming environment, our youth eagerly anticipate coming together weekly for a blend of fun, fellowship, games, and snacks. Beyond the regular gatherings, we foster a sense of community through special outings to local restaurants, engaging in service projects, embarking on mission trips, and enjoying the excitement of amusement parks.
By creating such a dynamic and supportive space, we aspire to help our teenagers forge a genuine and personal relationship with Jesus Christ, allowing them to not only understand but also actively live out the abundant life He promises.
Through these experiences, we hope to cultivate a foundation for their continued growth in Christ and a lasting connection with their faith community.
MEET OUR YOUTH DIRECTOR
Jason Salisbury
Jason first started attending Faymont when he was 10 years old.
He has served on the church Praise Team for many years and accepted the calling to lead the Youth Ministry in 2022. In addition to serving, he enjoys a variety of sports and loves movies. He also enjoys reading devotionals and talking about GOD as well as fellowshipping with family and friends. He is married to Heather and has a son named Will.
